Hello, my Name is Marcel and i’m from Germany.

In April 2013 i came first time to the beautiful island of Koh Phangan.  Immdiately i fell in love and decided to get deeper into the culture of Thailand. The best way to do so, is to learn the language. I already started to learn some vocabulary back home but realized quiet quickly that this won’t work so well.

When i came back in August last year , i planned to stay for a year to do a proper language course at a school, so i got in contact with KPT Language school.

Knowing, to learn a language that is completly different from any romanian language, i haven’t been very confident to get by with.

Then the first lessons begun, held by Kru Kay, and my opinion start to change. Small classes, familiar environment and Kay’s way of teaching, made me loose my timidity very quickly and gain skills that fast, faster than i ever could imagine. Now, 120 hours later i’m able to read, write and speak Thai in a way i never dreamed about.

For that i want to thank the whole Team, including Uri, Lilly, Palm, Nhoi and especially Kru Kay. I haven’t only gained new language skills, i also found new friends.

I’ve been living in Koh Phangan for 2 years now, and after a year of border runs and tourist visas, I signed up for the first level at KPT.

Thai language seemed hard to learn at the beginning, but after the first 3 months, once I was able to read it, it gets much easier. And I have to say that having Kay as my teacher, made going to class something I was looking forward to every week. She was always able to find a great way to explain everything and to make the lessons fun. Now after finishing my first year,

I can understand what’s happening around me and it’s making living here a lot easier. And I, of course, have to say a big thanks to the rest of the KPT team, for sorting out my visa and always welcoming us with a smile. I just can’t wait to start the second level! ขอบคุณมากค่ะ Aggy

Hi! My name is Dzhema, I’m from Moscow, Russia.

I have spent last two and a half years traveling and living in Thailand. I love Thai people, Thai culture and everything about this beautiful country.

It has been a pleasure studying at the KPT International Language School here on Koh Phangan.

Over the past year my instructor Nhoi, created a syllabi that seemed more like games to increase my retention of the language.

What was difficult at first, she made easy! I’m so thankful to all the staff: Nhoi, Palm, Lilly and all my fellow students for making this an experience I will never forget.

If you have a desire to learn Thai, I highly recommend studying at KPT. Good luck to all current and future students!

I never dreamt about teacher like Nhoi and never thought that Thai lessons could bring me this much pleasure.

It’s very hard sometimes to learn language but Nhoi knows how to make it interesting and easy.

Sawadee kap. My name is Ruslan and I love Thailand.

From my first month in this country I wanted to speak Thai to be able communicate with locals, because they are so kind and helpful, but usually they can’t understand English.

For 5 month I tried to learn at least speak Thai with my local friends, but I knew only few phrases, didn’t understand language and can’t speak more than “Hello, how are you”. Finally, I decided to go to proper language school.

I choose KPT and from first day never regret of this. Managers in the school are real professionals: they know everything about documents and all requirements. My 1-year visa was approved in time and all next extensions was easy and transparent for me as well. It is very important for me to have support in Thailand and I happy to have such professional team for this.

From the first lessons of Thai I was expecting hard job in study, but it wasn’t. In very easy way our teacher gave us massive knowledge about language. After one month I knew whole Thai alphabet and can write it. After 2-3 month I was able to read, speak and, main thing – to understand language. Finally, after whole course I can speak and write Thai almost fluent: tones, consonants and vowels? Easy! I didn’t expect this in the beginning.

Thank you, all KPT School team for this important knowledge and experience.

Now I can travel around Thailand, practice my language and get more connected with interesting people and places.

The teaching process at KPT is absolutely fantastic. The teacher is great and she get teaches in such form where it is fun to learn and also how to interact on a daily basis.

Before I started I never thought I would be able in the end of my year be able to both read, write and speak thai. Just one year of teaching gives you so much.

The classes are small and personalized, which makes it fun and friendly. It also gives you the time to get to know each other and progress both individually and as a group. I can truly recommend KPT and it is the best choice I made in Thailand so far.

I can now communicate with Thai people on a daily basis.
