My name is Oksana, and I am currently staying in Koh Phangan.
Due to the recent changes to the visa exemption rules for Ukrainian citizens, from September 15 the visa-free stay will be limited to 30 days. Therefore, I am interested in enrolling in a Thai language course and applying for an Education Visa (ED).
I would like to explain my situation and ask whether this would be possible in my case.
I am currently in Thailand, but I will leave Thailand on September 14 for a two-week trip to Europe and will return on September 28. After my return, I will receive only a 30-day visa exemption, so I would like to arrange the Education Visa within this period.
Could you please let me know:
* Is it possible to apply for an Education Visa from Thailand after entering on a 30-day visa exemption?
* How long does the whole process usually take?
* How much does the course and the complete ED visa process cost?
* What documents would I need to provide?
* Which Thai language courses are available, and how many months of visa extension do they usually allow?
* When should I register with the school after returning to Thailand?
I would really appreciate it if you could provide me with detailed information about the available options and the total cost.
Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards,
Oksana
